What claiming gets you
-
Reply to every review
Your response appears directly under the review, marked as the owner. A good reply to a bad review often reads better than the review itself.
-
Fix your own details
Update your address, phone number, website and description yourself, without waiting on a moderator.
-
A verified badge
Claimed listings carry a Claimed marker, which tells readers the business is engaged rather than absent.
-
Email when reviews land
Get notified as soon as someone reviews you, so you can respond while it still matters.
How claiming works
-
Find your listing
Search for your business. If it is not there yet, add it — then claim it.
-
Tell us who you are
Your name, role and a work email address. If that email is on the same domain as your website, we verify you instantly by emailing you a link.
-
Start responding
If we cannot verify automatically, a human reviews it — usually within two business days.
What we will not do
We think it is worth being blunt about this, because plenty of review sites are not.
- We do not remove honest negative reviews, whether or not you have claimed the listing, and there is no amount of money that changes that.
- Claiming does not affect your rating or your ranking. It gives you a voice, not a thumb on the scale.
- We do remove reviews that break the rules — fake reviews, reviews from competitors, personal attacks, anything with private information. Report them and a moderator will look.
